Cardinal Malcolm Ranjith, Archbishop of Colombo says the international community shouldnt interfere in Sri Lankas domestic issues. Addressing a gathering in Kegalle over the weekend, Dr. Malcolm Ranjith said that foreign interference would only cause problems.
The leader of the Catholic community expressed confidence that national reconciliation could be achieved in the post-war era without the expertise of the international community. The Archbishop said that all communities should support the ongoing efforts to settle differences among the communities.
