Trinity College Kandy booked a place in the semifinals with a smashing ten wicket victory over Gurukula MV in their inter school under 19 limited overs cricket tournament first quarterfinal match worked off at Maradana today.
Trinity College will now take on either Royal College or Thurstan College who will clash in another quarterfinal fixture at Thurstan College ground today. In addition St. Joseph’s College will meet St. Mary’s College Kegalle in another quarterfinal encounter at Kandana.
The fourth and final quarterfinal match between St. Sebastian’s College Moratuwa and Mahinda College Galle will be played on March 29 at Mount Lavinia. The two semifinals will be worked off on March 29 and 30 at the Moors SC ground in Braybrooke Place and the final is scheduled for April 1 at the NCC ground in Maitland Place.
