Sri Lanka to continue with ‘proven strategies’ [March 28 2011]

Sri Lanka captain Kumar Sangakkara said today that his team would stick to ‘tried and proven’ strategies rather than making wild experiments when they take on New Zealand in the semi final of the ICC World Cup tournament to be played under lights at the Premadasa Stadium tomorrow.

Sangakkara said Sri Lanka would not take any chances and take things lightly though the hosts go as the hot favourites to make it to Saturday’s final. He warned his team mates to be prepared for a ‘serious business’ and be ‘accurate at all times’ as they attempt to cross two hurdles to become the World Champions for the first time since 1996.
