South Asian civil societies to attend SACOSAN IV [March 29 2011]

More than 100 civil society organizations in the South Asian region to participate at the South Asian Conference on Water and Sanitation (SACOSAN IV) to be held in Sri Lanka from April 4 to 7.

The representatives from civil society organisations community leaders, academic and media personnel from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka will be attending a two day’s meeting prior to the conference.

The Centre for Environmental Justice is organizing the civil society meeting to discuss the progress made since the last SACOSAN and the steps need to be taken in future to solve the issues related to water and sanitation in future.
