Sri Lanka geared to face World Cup final challenge - Sanga   [March 30 2011]

Sri Lanka is not worried about their opponents in Saturday’s ICC World Cup final in Mumbai. “We should be able to take opponent with confidence and we are out to make our best and win,” a determined Sri Lanka captain said as the team prepared to fly to India for the weekend’s final of the 14-nation tournament.

Sangakkara said making it to the final, beating New Zealand in yesterday’s semi final in Colombo, was great but added that it all matters what they would dish out in the mega final. But a determined Sri Lanka captain said his team is geared to face any challenge.  Sri Lanka will have to wait until the end of today’s second semi final between India and Pakistan which is now in progress in Mohali.
