Country’s veteran Tamil Politician and one of the leading civil lawyers late S.J.V. Chelvanayagam’s 113th birth anniversary was commemorated in various parts in the North and East today.
Chelvanayagam entered into Banda - Chelva pact to settle the Tamil political grievances in 1958. He remained as the leader of the leader of the Tamil Akasukatchi until his death 1976.
