A Film festival of Sri Lanka's veteran movie director Dr Lester James Pieris will take place from April 5-11 to mark his 92nd birthday which falls on April 5, said the Director General of S.W.R.D. Bandaranaike National Memorial Foundation Bandhula Ekanayake.
"A total of seven evergreen movies of the maverick director will be screened at the event to honour his creative contribution to Sri Lankan cinema" said Ekanayake
