The Ministry of Postal Service with the support of University of Moratuwa is in the process of networking with 634 main post offices countrywide including the North and East, Minister Jeewan Kumaratunga said.
Over 3410 sub- post offices are to be networked within two years. On the completion of networking we plan to provide additional services to customers, according to Minister Kumaratunga.
The Postal Department Posts plans to introduce Track and Trace system for the first time in Sri Lanka, the Minister added.
