Spin wizard Muttiah Muralitharan dismissed rumors of a possible return to international cricket and said he has already played in his last One Day International for Sri Lanka against India last Saturday.
Speaking to reporters during a reception hosted by President Mahinda Rajapaksa to the Sri Lanka team at Temple Trees this evening, Muralitharan said there is no possibility of a comeback whatsoever. “When I say something I do it and I mean it! I have already played in my last international match. I am not going to change that decision under whatever the circumstances,” the world’s highest Test and ODI wicket taker said today.
