89 unregistered children’s homes in the country

<p>With the detection of 89 unregistered children homes, Child Development and Women's Affairs Minister Tissa Karalliyadda has directed the authorities to register these Children homes.

<p>The Ministry sources said over 2380 children had been accommodated in those unregistered children’s homes.

<p>According to sources, there are 434 children homes in the country and 345 homes, where 13,335 children are sheltered, are registered under the Department of Probation and child care.
