A woman and three men have been taken into custody the special investigating unit of the Colombo DIG’s office, in connection with robbery of a van after threatening is driver.
The incident happened opposite the Waterekka railway station.Police recovered a micro pistol with four live bullets from a suspect at Kiriwanthudawe, said Inspector Janaka Perera who arrested the suspects.
Investigations have revealed that the suspect were involved in other crimes as well. (JJ)
