Sports Minister Mahindananda Aluthgamage confirmed the new five-member national selection committee for cricket, as exclusively reported by the Observer Online last Saturday.
Speaking at a news conference in Colombo this evening, the Sports Minister said the new national selection committee comprise Duleep Mendis (chairman), Brendon Kuruppu, Ranjith Madurasinghe, Chaminda Mendis and Don Anurasiri – the identical committee exclusively reported by the Observer Online on Saturday evening.
