Three men transporting illegally felled timer in a bullock cart was arrested by the Police Special Task Force (STF) officers at the 10th mile post at Kubukkan Oya.
The suspects from Mahabulugolla had a locally made gun in their possession at the time of the detection. They were produced before the Moneragalla Magistrate and remanded till May 6. JJ
