The Walana Vice Squad raided an illicit hooch den at Makavita in the Gampaha area and found 8325 litters of Unlawfully Distilled Liquor (UDS) in 1110 bottles.
They also found 5670 of bottles of Goda inside 30 barrels. The liquor was being prepared for distillation purpose, police said. The illicit liquor and the utensils were produced at The Gampaha police station. (JJ)
