A pistol of ex-cadre recovered

<p>On a tip off a police team from Valachchenai have discovered a foreign made <http://9.mm>9.mm pistol hidden inside a hollow of a tree in a jungle at Maunargal Valachachenai with 7 rounds of ammunition. 

<p>Police suspect the pistol belonged to a former LTTE leader in the area. No person have been arrested following the discovery. Valachchenai police are making further inquiries. <p>(JJ)
