Lanka to achieve US $ 4,000 per capita income

<P>Sri Lanka is to achieve US$ 4,000 per capita income in the next 5 years said the Treasury Secretary, Dr. P. B. Jayasundara when he met the business community at an event in Colombo.

<P>“We expect the country and consolidate thereafter as a middle income country. Now these policies cannot be taken in isolation. Government was able to take far reaching changes to the tax system.” he said.
