30,000 to be recruited to public service

<p>Cabinet has approved to recruit 30,000 youth, including graduates and A/L and O/L qualified, to the public service under proposed Sri Lanka Development Officers’ Service (SLDOS) and Sri Lanka Development Assistants Service (SLDAS).

<p>The proposal was forwarded by President Mahinda Rajapaksa and the Cabinet has approved the establishment of SLDOS and SLDAS to provide assistance in the governments  development process.
