The Education Department of Eastern Provincial Council with the assistance of St. Johns Ambulance service has taken steps to conduct first aid training programs in the schools in the province.
The students will be practically trained how to carry out first aid during unexpected accidents taking place in the living environment and in the school.
This training program will help the students to appear and provide first aid to the victims during unexpected accidents and natural disasters, according to Eastern Province Education Department.
