A body floating on the Tissamaharamaya tank was retrieved following a tip off given to the Tissamaharama police, yesterday, the Police Media Spokesman, SP, Prishatha Jayakody told the Sunday Observer online.
The deceased have been identified as D. Indika Ekanayake, a resident of Kavantissapura-Tissamaharama. Police also found an abandoned Tri- Shaw on the bank of the lake. Tissamaharama police is investigating the death of the person. (JJ)
