KP’s name re-included in Interpol ‘wanted’ list [May 29 2011]

The Interpol has re-included the name of Kumaran Pathmanathan in the most wanted list of international list. The Interpol announced the latest list of most wanted men, which included the former LTTE international wing head and chief arms procurer Tharmalingam Shanmugam Kumaran, better known as Kumaran Pathmanathan (KP).

KP was arrested by Sri Lankan authorities in 2009 in Malaysia and brought down to Sri Lanka. Since then he has been is custody. The re-listing of KP’s name came days after he made several revelations during an interview with an Indian media, during which he claimed that the LTTE was responsible for the assassination of former Indian Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi.
