President Mahinda Rajapaksa,s new approch of managing India had brought the victory, Counter terrorism expert said. Prof. Rohan Gunaratne addressing the Armys international seminar said today though the government got the assistance from China and Pakistan, continued to get the support of India during the final battle.
The government needs to strenthen its good relations with India in future, he said. Prof. Gunaratne revealed that there are over 1200 ex LTTE cadres in Tamil Nadu and extremist political leaders propagate LTTE idiology.
