Rugby: St. Peter’s beat S. Thomas’ 59-7 [June 04 2011]

St. Peter’s College kept their hopes alive of retaining the League title for the second successive year when they trounced arch rivals S. Thomas’ College Mount Lavinia 59-7 in their Singer inter school Under 20 Division One rugby encounter worked off at Bambalapitiya today.

The Peterites also went on to regain the Archibald Perera trophy while collecting their points from seven goals and two tries after having led 29-7at half time. The Thomians responded with one goal. (C.D)
