Parallel to the development of electricity generation, the existing transmission system will be improved to provide the consumers with a quality, reliable and uninterrupted power supply.
For the development of the transmission system, a total investment of Rs 146,473 million is expected to be made during the period between 2011 and 2020. This transmission development program consists of the expansion of transmission lines and grid sub stations.
