Dynamic wicket keeper batsman Kaushal Silva was named captain of the Sri Lanka ‘A’ team for their one month long tour of England starting end of July. Another talented wicket keeper batsman Dinesh Chandimal who is also in the Sri Lanka one day squad was picked as the vice captain.
The national cricket selectors also recalled former Sri Lanka Test opener Malintha Warnapura and included Sri Lanka youth captain Bhanuka Rajapaksa in the Sri Lanka A team.
