A bhikkhu who sustained injuries while bathing at Sathutugama tank in Ibbankatuwa in Dambulla died after being admitted to the Dambulla hospital. The injuries were result of his head knocking against a rock, police said.
He have been identified as Ambegamuwa Wimala Jothi (22) Thera of Thammanewa Raja Maha Vihara. The body is now lying at the Dambulla hospital.
