Smuggled cigarettes seized

<P>A consignment of smuggled cigarettes were seized from a boutique at Colombo North following a raid conducted by the Colombo North Vice Squad.

<P>The following items were seized.
<P>(1)A packet containing 20 Gold Leaf cigarettes made in Turkey.
<P>(2)A packet containing 20 MI American cigarettes.
<P>(3)189 packets containing 3780 Gold Leaf Cigarettes.
<P>(4)54 packets containing 1080 American cigarettes. <P>The suspect will be produced in courts, police said. <P>(JJ)
