President to hand over houses for Tamils in North July 19 2011

President Mahinda Rajapaksa, who is now in the North to inspect the progress of ongoing development projects in the province, will hand over houses built by the Army today.

Director General of President’s Media Division Bandula Jayasekara said he will also inspect the housing project, where the Army had built over 1,000 houses. He will hand over 10 houses built in Kiramali today.

At a function held in Kayts, the President pledged to provide all necessary facilities to develop the North par with the rest of the country.
