Large-scale co-operative farming encouraged

<P>The farmers are encouraged to go for large scale cooperative farming to get the benefit of economies of scale. Small farms have to face serious constraints in adopting modern technology and in marketing their produce.
<P>Their unit cost remains comparatively high because of high overhead costs. Therefore farmers will be encouraged to go for large scale cooperative farming.
