DWLC joins with NARA to conserve whales and dolphins [August 05 2011]

The Wildlife Conservation Department plans to join the National Aquatic Resources Agency (NARA) to to conserve large mammal species particularly whales, dolphins and dugongs.

The newly appointed DWLC Director General H. D. Ratnayake said in consultations with the NARA, a national Marine Mammal Act will be drafted to conservate marine  species.
