Policemen to wear nametags [August 10 2011]

All policemen and officers should wear their official nametags with effect from nest year. All policemen in uniform must display their names on the uniform according to the Police Headquarters.

Official sources said the compulsory ruling that would enable the public to identify policemen on duty by name would be effective from January 1, 2012, the Government Information Department said quoting the Police Headquarters. .
