The Public Administration and Home Affairs Ministry is conducting awareness programs in the North to make aware the Government employees of the rural development projects and district administrative activities in the North, the Ministry sources said.
The Government is engaged in the process of setting up “Seva Piyasa” service homes in the North to expedite the public service. As the initiative of this program the Government set up a “Seva Piyasa” service home in Jaffna recently, according to the Ministry sources.
