Chief Incumbent of the Mihintale Rajamaha Vihara Ven. Namalwewa Rathnasara thero was arrested at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) today.
The Police said they arrested him on an arrest warrant issued by the Anuradhapura Chief Magistrate Darshika Vimalasuriya, who ordered on August 12 to immediately arrest the thera, who was charged for sexually abusing a 13-year-old girl.
