Private Transport Services Minister C.B. Ratnayake has decided to fix digital timetables at bus stops. These timetables will operate round-the-clock at bus stops for the convenience of passengers who travel daily, the Ministry sources said.
This decision was taken at a meeting between the Minister and private bus operators at the Ministry.
The Ministry has also decided to deploy a separate team to check the tickets issued in private buses, according to the sources.
