A book titled “The Anagarika Dharmapala” composed by Ven. Sangarakkitha thera to mark the 147th birth anniversary of Anagarika Dharmapala was presented to the President at Temple Trees by Mala Weerasekara, a relative daughter of Anagarika Dharmapala.
President Rajapaksa was invited by Dabadiwa Sanchi Viharadhipathi and Chairman of Sri Lanka Maha Bodhi Society, Banagala Upathissa thera, to participate, as the Chief Guest, in the special ceremony to be held on September 17th to mark the 147th Birth Anniversary of Anagarika Dharmapala.
Ven. Banagala Upathissa Thera presented a replica of Dabadiwa Sanchi Viharaya to the President.
