President Mahinda Rajapaksa said the plantation sector needs to use modern technology and encourage more foreign investment to get a stable price for plantation crops in the international market.
At a progress revive meeting of the Ministries - Plantation and Coconut Development - held at the Temple Trees today he said when solving problems in the plantation sector more emphasized need to be given to the practical problems faced by the farmers.
