Vehicle owners of over 3,000 owners will receive compensation for vehicle damages due to substandard fuel distributed by the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC).
The three-member committee appointed to look into the issue had selected the claimants, who have submitted documents to prove the damages.
The CPC has decided to extend the period for 14 more days to submit the documents for those who yet to apply for compensation.
