Large crowds are gathering in Kolonnawa to pay their last respect to the slain former parliamentarian Bharatha Lakshman Premachandra. Sources said that large number of supporters, trade union activists, SLPFers and residents lined up to pay their last respect to Senior Presidential Advisor Premachandra who was killed in a shooting incident in Walpola, Mulleriyawa on Saturday.
President Mahinda Rajapaksa paid his last respect to the late trade union leader yesterday. The funeral will be held at Umagiliya Grounds, Kolonnawa on Wednesday.
