Lakwijaya - Norochcholai Coal Power Plant has connected back to the main power grid today.
Ceylon Electricity Board sources said the power plant had broke down a month ago due to a fire.
The CEB had to purchase electricity from the private scetor to meet the demand spending Rs. 80 million per day.
