<P>Independence Day celebrations in Chennai

<P>The Sri Lanka Deputy High Commission for Southern India in Chennai will celebrate the 65th anniversary of the Independence of Sri Lanka tomorrow. 

<P>The Office of the Sri Lanka Deputy High Commission was relocated in August last year to a new premises which is owned by the Government of Sri Lanka. 

<P>A Cultural Troupe from the Sri Lanka Youth Services Council will present Sri Lankan cultural performances at both events, while chefs from the Aitken Spence Group of Hotels will prepare Sri Lankan traditional food for the guests.
