April 15, Public holiday [March 29 2013]

Public Administration and Home Affairs Minister W.D.J. Senevirathne has announced the declaration of April 15 as a public holiday in view of the Sinhala - Hindu New Year which falls on Saturday and Sunday.

The additional holiday has been declared as the New Year holidays fall during the weekend this time.
