Man hacked to death in Padukka [April 27 2013]

A 30-year-old man was hacked to death with a sword by another during a brawl took place in Imbulahena, Liyawala in Padukka.

The victim identified as Kapila Kumara armed with a long knife had reportedly stormed the house of a neighbour around 10.00pm yesterday. The suspect, the resident of the house had subsequently attacked the intruder with a sword killing him on the spot.

Padukka Police inquiring into the case has taken the supect into custody.
