Six soldiers injured in an explosion in Oddusudan

<P>Six soldiers sustained injuries when a set of detonators exploded in Udayankattikulam area in Oddusudan this afternoon. 

<P>The soldiers were reportedly cleaning the area when a mamoty used to dig the ground had hit a buried set of detonators causing the explosion. The injured were admitted to Anuradhapura Hospital including one soldier in a serious condition, Military Spokesman Brigadier Ruwan Wanigasuriya said. 

<P>The area formerly a part of an LTTE training field had later been occupied by the army.
