Former Chief Executive Officer of Deyata Kirula 2013 national exhibition has been arrested by the CID for an alleged fraud of Rs.39, 482, 040.
She was arrested on a complaint lodged by the Ministry of Telecommunications and Information Technology regarding the alleged misappropriation of building funds, police spokesman said.
The suspect is to be produced in Fort Magistrate courts today. The CID is conducting further investigations.
