Three children were drowned when a mother had jumped into a well with them in Thandikulam, Vavuniya this morning. However the woman was rescued by the neighbours.
The children aged four, three and one and half years had been pushed into the water by their mother before jumping into the well. She was reportedly suffering from a mental disease, the police said.
