The Department of Meteorology today warned people to be vigilant on the rising water levels of of Gin ganga and Nilwala river. The public has also been warned of rising flood levels at Pitabaddara, Paanadugama and Tawalama areas.
The Met. Department had earlier said that showers or thundershowers are expected at times in the Western, Southern, Sabaragamuwa and Central provinces. There could be temporary localized fairly strong winds during showers.
