A 50-year-old fishermans body was found whos throat has been slit by an unidentified gang in Tangalle last night.
The victim identified as M M Premaratne was reportedly living by himself in Seenimodera area when he was attacked by a gang.
Tangalle Police who are conducting inquires are yet to ascertain the reason behind the killing.
