Kelaniya Pradeshiya Sabha Chairman Prasanna Ranaweera has been hospitalised after he was reportedly assaulted by another party member in a brawl this morning, police said.
The incident had occurred when the Chairman had taken part at an event in Kelaniya area today where he had involved with a heated argument with another UPFA member.
