Pakistani journalist nabbed with heroin

<P>Excise Narcotic Bureau nabbed a Pakistani national along with a bag of heroin worth Rs.5million in Orugodawatta last night. 

<P>The suspect who is reportedly a journalist attached to a news agency in Pakistan had travelled to Sri Lanka several times and the contraband is believed to have been smuggled in during one of those trips. 

<P>Excise Spokesman Superintendent Prabath Jayawickreme said the suspect who had been married to a woman in Lahore is also married to a local woman in Panadura. 

<P>He was arrested while attempting to hand over the contraband to a third party. The Excise sleuths also found three media identity cards in his possession.
