Highway toll paid with a forged note

<P>A motorist who tried to pay his toll with a forged Rs.1000 note on the Southern Expressway was handed over to the police yesterday.  

<P>The suspect who had entered the highway from Pinnaduwa end in Galle and had tried to take  Welipenna Exit had given the forged currency to the cashier. He was handed over to Welipenna police.
