The Madurai bench of the Madras High Court has dismissed a petition seeking direction to the Director General of Police to register an FIR against the Union Minister of State in the Prime Ministers Office, N Narayanasamy for his statement against the slain LTTE supremo Velupillai Prabhakaran and Naam Thamilar Katchi partys President Seeman.
The petitioner, C Ramesh, an advocate, submitted that the Union Minister had allegedly made derogatory comments against Prabhakaran and Seeman during a meeting at Puducherry in April.
